Friedberg's URA Play + Wheel Strategy

This is not financial advice and it is for educational and entertainment purposes only.During All-In Podcast #160, David Friedberg predicted the Gobal X Uranium ETF (NYSE: URA) would do well in 2024. I bought 100 shares of URA on January 8, 2024 and will maintain the position using an options wheel strategy and track it on this website. I aim to hold it until at least 2025 predictions.

Wheel Strategy Explained

The Wheel options trading strategy involves selling put options to collect premiums with the intention of buying the underlying stock at a discount if the stock price falls below the strike price. If assigned the stock, the investor then sells covered call options on the same stock to collect additional premiums and potentially sell the stock at a higher price. The process repeats, aiming to generate income through premiums while potentially owning the stock at lower prices. The wheel strategy on this page started by selling a call against a held position in URA. Calls 4-14 days from expiry 20-30 Deltas out of the money will typically be sold in this scenario.Watch a video about the Wheel Strategy
